Allison
Founder/Teacher
E-RYT 500, Trauma Informed Teacher
Allison has been instructing yoga since 2019 when she finished her 200 RYT. During the pandemic she completed her 300 RYT and became a trauma certified instructor. It wasn't until 2021 that her big dream, YUJ Yoga Studio, came to life. The studio is inspired by the wonderful community of students, mentors, and teachers she met while teaching yoga in Fargo. Outside of the studio you may find her tending her garden or cuddling with her cat.

Ashleigh
Studio Manager/Teacher
RYT 200, YIN Certified
Ashleigh has been teaching for 2 years in the F/M area. She is known for her energizing hot yoga classes and empowering personality. More than anything, Ashleigh enjoys connecting with new students and getting to know them. Outside of yoga, you can find her spending time with her cats, gardening, thrifting, and being around family and friends.

Abby
Teacher
RYT 200, Nursing Student at NDSU
Abby embodies the perfect balance of strength and softness. She will support, encourage, and motivate you to be the best version of yourself on and off the mat. Outside of the yoga studio, she is hard-working nursing student, cat mom, and thoughtful friend.

Michaela
Teacher
RYT 200
Michaela enjoys teaching Hatha classes that allow students to tune into their bodies. Outside of the studio she is a wife, mom of three and loves being outside on her family's country property.

Trina
Teacher
RYT 500, Avita Yoga Certified, MS Counseling
Trina is deeply grateful to share the nurturing practices of yoga with other amazing humans. She always wants her students to feel welcomed and valued just as they are. Trina also enjoys biking, attending live concerts, and doing pretty much anything alongside her husband Jason.

Gina
Teacher
RYT 200
Gina has been teaching yoga at YUJ since our doors first opened. Not only is she a dedicated yoga teacher and friend, but she is a wife and mother who loves the mountains and has a great green thumb. Our studio plants wouldn't thrive without Gina's care.

David
Teacher
RYT 200, Katonah Yoga® Certified
David has dedicated years of his life to yoga and dance. Not only has he gone on tour, but he has traveled to NYC to learn from the creator of Katonah Yoga®. His classes are rooted in yoga philosophy, alignment, metaphor, and play. Outside of yoga, he participates in theatrical arts as one of Trollwood's main stage choreographers and is an adoring cat dad.

Nichole
Teacher
200 RYT
We can't imagine YUJ without Nichole's creative spirit and positive vibe. Her gentle yoga classes are inspired by her work as an artist and the creator of The Art Of Daily practice.

Sami
Teacher
RYT 200, Pilates
Sami's personality can turn any frown upside down. Her approach to yoga is rooted in body-positivity and she enjoys holding space for students no matter their skill-level. Never hesitate to ask her questions about her most recent travels or puppy dogs. She is our globe trotter and fur baby loving pilates and yoga teacher.

Karly
Teacher
Reiki Master, Breathwork Facilitator
Karly is known for helping women reconnect with their truth, heal wounds beneath the surface, & step into their power with clarity & confidence. She holds space for deep transformation, spiritual connection, & radical self-love. She enjoys teaching Nidra and other classes at YUJ because of the empowering and caring community.

Olivia

200 RYT
Olivia is deeply motivated by her personal yoga practice. She completed her training at Peaceful Warrior School and enjoys sharing the fundamentals of yoga with her students, beyond just the physical postures.

Ashley
Teacher
200 RYT, Owner of Studio NoMo
We love having Ashley at YUJ because she not only has a fun personality, but she holds space in her own authentic way. Her classes include yoga philosophy and are accessible for students at all-levels. Fun Fact: She is the owner of Studio NoMo, a beautiful sauna and cold plunge facility located near Downtown Fargo.

Lexi
Teacher
Pilates
Lexi may have a gentle demeanor, but don't let that sweet smile fool you. Her light-weight pilates workouts target deep stabilizing muscles - the power house of your body. Her classes are accessible for students at all-levels, including beginners.

Liz

200 RYT, YogaHour® Certified
Liz is a natural born teacher in and outside of the studio. Unlike forced air systems, infrared panels do not circulate air in the room, limiting the spread of dust and other allergens (a definite selling point for us in light of the recent pandemic). The heat emitted by the panels will be absorbed by objects including your body which has been shown to relieve pain, decrease inflammation, and boost the immune system.
